DAY TO DAY

So this blog is all about moral support.  The way I see it, if you’ve ever been paralysed by the fear of “not being good enough”  or accomplished enough to make it into print – welcome, think of this as home.  Sit down, chill out, have a coffee (or something stronger if a deadline is looming) muse, comment, discuss and get involved.

I really wanted somewhere to communicate with others who can relate to feeling frustrated, excited, bored, amused, threatened, engaged, sad and happy with their imagination that whispers with the sounds of many as yet unheard voices. I think this place might be it and I’d love to hear from you. Especially if you are having the kind of day where it’s share or smash laptop. (I am quite familiar with these)

The only look-out is if you are into literary, prize-winning books that get discussed at dinner parties. You’ve read my “about” page right? I don’t take myself too seriously, but everyone should have a little dream or goal – so here are mine.

I have always wanted to write… I’ve talked about it, researched it, thought about it (my husband swears that there are little people who live in my head); just never got around to putting pen on paper. I’ve written the odd chapter, short story and even magazine article (never submitted) and they end up where they always end up.. In a draw, on a data stick or just in my imagination.

So I started a blog. Bought a netbook (to write on) and will be discussing how the writing thing goes, warts and all..

You can follow me on twitter. Comment on a post or whatever. If you come along for the ride I promise not to whine too much and I will even post some factual and helpful information on here from time to time. (Maybe)

For now, thanks for reading and feel free to comment. I look forward to replying.
